Our Shared Writing 18/1/22
The Amazing Dragon
The dragon stood on the castle wall,
His feet were huge, his head was tall,
He held the sheep within his claws,
And chomped at him with his strong jaws.
He started off with the sheep’s head,
And very soon the sheep was dead!
In the distance he heard a call,
So off he flew, proud and tall.
The call had come from the country’s king,
About a missing diamond ring,
The special ring was very old,
Or so the dragon had been told.
The ring was in the dragon’s tummy!
The dragon said it tasted yummy!
He poked the dragon with a stick,
And the vicious dragon was very sick.
One ring…covered in puke!

Welcome Back! Croeso!
We find ourselves learning from home again, but this time I'm convinced that we can do it! We have been using Hwb every week since September. We have explored the things that we can do on the Google Classroom- I know that we can do it!
Our new topic is Cardiff Castle. Hopefully we will manage a trip there in the summer. Cardiff Castle is a fantastic piece of history right on our doorstep! Initially built by the Romans, but changed over the centuries by every new owner. I can't wait to explore the history of Cardiff Castle with you.

September 2020
Welcome back to school - we have missed you!
We have a busy year ahead, and lots of lovely learning activities to enjoy together.
You have missed a lot of school, but don't worry; we will do everything that we can to help you catch up. We will be using Hwb a great deal to make sure that you all know how to learn on Google Classroom. Our first topic is MacMillan. This is a very interesting challenge this year because of social distancing. We will be working together to plan and hold a virtual event instead. Could be tricky!!!
Mrs P
Year 6, we've wished you all good luck and said goodbye this week.
To remember us by, here is the video from the teachers with all their messages that you watched on Thursday.
If you would like to watch the End of Year PowerPoint, remember you can still log onto Google Classroom to watch it again, but you won't be able to comment or contact anyone!
Good luck and Goodbye Year 6! Love, Miss Williams, Mrs Proctor and Mr Mills
Monday 16th March
Please be aware that all spelling lists and other home learning will now be available on Google Classroom. This can be found on Hwb. We have been learning how to use this virtual classroom today. If you were away you may want to log in and have an explore. This could be a very useful resource in the coming weeks. So log on and send me a message.
